About the service

Your number will normally appear automatically on the display of the number you are calling. If CLIR is enabled, your number will remain “hidden” for the person you are calling.

CLIR activation

To activate CLIR for a single call, dial *997 before dialing the number. For subsequent calls, your number will be “uncovered” again for the person you are calling.

To “hide” your phone number permanently for all calls, you should activate the CLIR services permanently by dialing *270*. After you enable permanent CLIR, your number will not be visible to the person you are calling until you deactivate the service.

CLIR deactivation

To deactivate permanent CLIR, press *271*. After deactivation, your number will be visible to anyone you are calling.

CLIR check

To check whether your caller ID is hidden or open at the moment, dial *272*.
